The U1050 is designed for heavy machining of small to medium sized parts. It can support work pieces of up to 10,000kg.  It is a high performance machine featuring rigid construction with Flat-Ram design which cannot be disturbed with “inside-works”, because all the transmission equipment (ZF gear box, belt/pulley) is located at the rear of the Ram. So this structure can be very stable with good rigidity suitable for both heavy duty rough operations as well as accurate finishing machining. For high accuracy, the cross Y-axis ball screw has an internal oil cooling system. And the highly rigid KORTA ball screw with hardened C3 class double nut ball screws are preloaded to minimize backlash, provide high precision movement, and reduce heat deformation on all axes. It also provides excellent accessibility to the working area, and the operator’s protection is provided for, including complete enclosures which allow for a perfect chip disposal, coolant containment and noise dampering. Furthermore, all the chips and coolant water can be protected perfectly and conveyed to the chip reservoir and coolant tank effectively.
