The U1350 is designed for heavy machining of big sized parts. It can support work pieces of up to 16000kg and milling performance uses 42kw power  and 1636Nm of torque. For high accuracy, the cross Y-axis ball screw has an internal oil cooling system. For perfect movement and geometric accuracy, the 8 faces Ram is composed of 4 ground way and 4 gib way during critical maximum Y cross travel and 1860mm/2010mm guide way length of the saddle, which is long enough to prevent “Ram drooping” and guarantees geometric accuracy during critical maximum Y cross travel. Also the monolithic and symmetric column guarantees high rigidity performances. 2 INA steel way and INA roller shoes with 3 turcite guide ways and 1 gib way in combination reduce “Stick-Slip” and contribute to the “damping effect” for smooth vertical movement. Furthermore, it prevents saddle deviation during critical maximum Y cross travel. Also, the  LM ball screw support system with the ball screw vibration absorber allows for vibration-free running, noise reduction and has no accuracy deformation.
